
The Hotel has been designed on the lines of the famous Mysore Palace and is a fusion of the Dravidian and Rajasthani styles with Contemporary vocabulary and services, with Large Glass domes, e-glazing for energy saving, PV systems for power generation, solar water heating systems and cutting edge BMS systems for Energy Conservation. The Hotel facility block had to cater to 1250 guest rooms which were designed as 2-3 bed room villas.
In terms of capacity, the hotel was to be the largest five star deluxe hotel in India.
The villas were spread out in 120 acres in themed blocks based on the various Dynasties which ruled Karnataka over the years like the Hoysalas, the Vijayanagara Kingdom, and Tipu Sultan etc. There are four restaurants, two Banquet halls of 250 and 500 pax capacities with extension facility, Business Centre with committee rooms of various sizes. Two swimming pools, with waterfalls, luxurious nature landscape in and around the Hotel are the other unique features of the design.
Apart from the Hotel and the Guest rooms, there are three clubs, health facilities, a convention centre and shopping planned in the design.
