This project is done in collaboration with IPIRTI and forest department of Tamil Nadu. It was pre-fabricated in Bangalore and assembled in Chennai.

The Exhibition Centre is constructed with 2” thick bamboo grid walls which are plastered and white-washed. The foundation is of 1.5’x1.5’- P.C.C 1:4:8 for Bamboo Columns and one course of RR Masonry for Bamboo Walls. The columns are of 4’’ dia. Bamboo poles at a distance of 4’ c/c. The flooring is red and black oxide with patterns made with broken ceramic tiles. The roof is designed with BMCS fixed on 2” Bamboo purlins, over 4” Bamboo trusses fixed with gusset and bolt joints. The doors and windows are framed with Bamboo poles and fixed with Bamboo mat to jungle wood panels
